Hus1tm1Rsw mice were crossed with mice expressing cre in the germline, resulting in the excision of exons 2 and 3. Sequencing of RT-PCR products from mutants confirmed the lack of exons 2 and 3 as well as the first three nucleotides of exon 4. (J:99339)
