Exon 12, which encodes part of the extracellular domain and is common to all isoforms, was disrupted by the insertion of a neomycin resistance gene. Flow cytometry of splenocytes, lymphocytes, lymph node and bone marrow cells with an antibody recognizing all isoforms failed to detect protein on any cells. (J:57681)
