Casq1^{Gt(OST82566)Lex}

The retroviral gene trap vector VICTR24 integrated between exons 3 and 4 of the gene locus. This vector contains a splice acceptor sequence followed by a neomycin selection cassette, and a BTK gene. Gene inactivation was confirmed by immunoblotting of limb muscle homogenates prepared from homozyogtes. Immunoblotting also confirmed that there was no compensatory increase in expression of the Casq2 gene. (J:140828)
