A targeting vector was designed to introduce Met exon 14-20 cDNA with a M1248T mutation downstream of exon 14, changing the ATG codon to ACG. RT-PCR and immunoblotting showed that met RNA and protein expression were equivalent to wild-type. (J:94722)
