This is a hypomorphic allele created by the insertion of an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance gene into intron 3, and loxP sites flanking exons 4-8, which encode the T-box region. RT-PCR from mutant embryos revealed that transcript levels were only 25% of the levels of wild-type. (J:93588)
