Human RET9 cDNA with Y1062F and L985P mutations and a floxed neo were inserted into exon 1 of the endogenous locus. Leucine 985 was at the end of the kinase domain. Mating with mice expressing Cre in the germline excised the neo. RT-PCR showed expression of the mutant allele in brain. (J:93262)
