Hmx3/Hmx2^tm3Tlu

A targeting vector was designed to replace an 11kb genomic fragment encompassing the Hmx2 and Hmx3 homeoboxes with a neomycin resistance gene. The only potential protein to be translated would be a truncated Hmx3 protein lacking the C-terminal portion essential for DNA-binding. (J:92940)
