这个转基因包含了人类的CD8α和β链基因，由T细胞特异性的Lck启动子驱动。在胸腺细胞中，62%表达为CD8α-α同源二聚体，14%为CD8α-β异二聚体。在外周T细胞中，CD8α-β异二聚体以4:1的比例更偏好表达。人类CD8α在CD4+和CD8+的T细胞上都有检测到。（来源：J:92994）
