A vector was inserted at the 5' end of intron 1. The vector contained the mouse En2 splice acceptor, CD4 transmembrane domain, Beta-geo, IRES, PLAP and SV40 polyA. PCR indicated loss of endogenous gene expression, but gain of a transcript of the endogenous LRRNT domain fused to Beta-geo. PLAP was also expressed. (J:92077)
