A genomic fragment encompassing exons 2 through 13 was replaced with a neo cassette inserted by homologous recombination. The deleted region encodes residues 11 through 1054, which encompass the all three dsRNA-binding domains, two putative Z-DNA-binding domains, and the majority of the catalytic domain. (J:87715)
