The exon encoding a major portion of the pleckstrin homology (PH) domain (amino acids 28-128) was replaced with a neomycin resistance gene via homologous recombination. Absence of gene expression in homozygous mutant animals was confirmed by Western blot analysis of testis proteins. (J:75092)
