The gene was disrupted by insertion of a neomycin resistance cassette into exon 4 by homologous recombination. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein product and cytochemical analysis demonstrated the absence of enzyme activity in cytotoxic T cells in homozygous mutant animals. (J:28773)
