Tg(Col2a1-Runx2*)3Tok

A cDNA fragment encoding the runt domain of mouse Runx2 was cloned between the promoter and enhancer elements of Col2a1 (active in chondrocytes) to produce a dominant negative transgene. Transgene expression was confirmed by Northern blot analysis of RNA extracted from the head or trunk of day E12.5 transgenic embryos. (J:68793)
