Ptdss2^{Gt(KST314)Byg}

The gene was disrupted by insertion of a gene trap vector (pGT1TMpfs) into intron 2. The resulting transcript is a fusion of the first 72 amino acids of Ptdss2 to the CD4 transmembrane domain and beta-geo sequences of the gene trap vector. Absence of wild-type transcript in homozygous mutant animals was confirmed by Northern blot analysis of testis and brain RNA. (J:70273, J:80673)
