Tg(Hsp70-1-cre)7Arge

A sequence fragment from the murine Hsp70-1 locus encompassing 655 bp of the 5' flanking and noncoding sequence was adjoined to sequence encoding cre recombinase. A single integration of the transgenic construct was identified in the founder line. Expression of this transgene by the Hsp70-1 promoter was not inducible by heat shock. (J:60711)
