在第一个起始密码子(ATG)处插入了-loxP位点和neo cassette，通过同源重组实现。通过与PGK-cre品系杂交，移除了ATG和neo cassette，导致从第二个甲硫氨酸开始翻译，产生一个长度为345氨基酸的较短蛋白(而非409氨基酸)。突变基因型通过分析杂合子动物大脑提取物的Western blot来确认。纯合子突变动物未出生。(来源：J:69631)
