A construct, in which a 0.5 Kb fragment extending from upstream of the TATA box through codon 117 was replaced with a neomycin selection cassette, was inserted at the endogenous locus via homologous recombination. No immunoreactivity was observed in testes sections obtained from homozygous mutant mice. (J:67063)
