Two exons encoding the putative GTP-binding domain (amino acids 59-193) were replaced with a PGK-neo cassette via homologous recombination. Western blot analysis of brain lysates using antibodies directed against the N-terminal and C-terminal portions of the protein did not detect protein expression in homozygous mutant animals. (J:63937)
