Pik3cd^tm1.1Bvan

This mutation is derived from Pik3cdtm1Bvan. Chimeric animals carrying Pik3cdtm1Bvan were crossed to a cre-expressing line to remove the floxed lacZ-neo cassette. The D910A mutation is left intact. Western blot analysis demonstrated the expression of mutant protein in thymocytes is similar to that of wild-type protein. Immunoprecipitates from homozygous mutant animals showed that mutant proteins were completely devoid of kinase activity. (J:78412)
