A fragment containing 2 exons encoding the ATP-binding domain was excised, leaving a single loxP site. Truncated transcript was detected by RT-PCR analysis of total renal RNA isolated from heterozygous mice. This allele was generated by the breeding of mice carrying Rps6ka4tm1.1Gsc with transgenic mice expressing cre recombinase via a ubiquitous promoter. (J:75113)
