The insertion of neomycin selection cassette deleted sequence encoding the glutamic acid stretch, adjacent cysteine-rich region, and ankyrin repeats. While low levels of truncated transcript were detected via Northern blot analysis using a probe for the SET domain, neither full-length nor truncated protein was detected by Western blot analysis.
