Egr2^tm3.1Pch

This allele is a derivative of Egr2tm3Pch in which exon 2 and flanking sequences were deleted by Cre mediated recombination. Mice carrying the Egr2tm3Pch allele were mated to Tg(Pgk1-cre)1Lni mice and offspring were screened for the heritable deletion. Immunohistochemistry experiments on homozygous embryos demonstrated that no detectable protein was encoded by this allele. (J:75128)
