A region encompassing all of exon 3 and a portion of exon 4 was deleted by the insertion of a neomycin selection cassette. Encoded protein was undetected via immunoblot analysis of protein extracts from homozygous mutant thymocytes. Subsequent western blot analysis has determined that 1% to 5% of endogenous levels of a protein lacking the Point domain is expressed. (J:77869, J:125056)
