Otx2^tm4.2Sia

This allele is a derivative of Otx2tm4.1Sia in which the loxP-flanked sequences were removed by crossing mice carrying the Otx2tm4.1Sia allele to mice expressing Cre recombinase in the germline [TgN(ACTB-Cre)2Mrt]. The final allele carries a single loxP site in place of the promoter and first exon of the gene, and a single frt site in place of the frt-flanked neomycin cassette. (J:74631)
