针对事件产生了反向转录的诺美西林抗性基因，位于插入第8内含子后的基因中，接着是一个缺失2-13号外显子的、无启动子的Il11ra1基因片段。对纯合小鼠肾脏RNA进行的Northern blot实验显示，这个等位基因产生了异常转录本，大小符合诺卡氏盒周围剪接形成包含1-8号外显子与2-13号外显子融合的转录本。对肾脏提取物进行的Western blot分析确认了这个等位基因表达出了异常大小的蛋白质。(来源：J:48920)
