The mutation, which was induced by treatment of a male mouse with a combination of triethylenemelamine (TEM) and 6Gy radiation, was identified as a C to A substitution in exon 10, nucleotide position 1092. The resulting protein has a Tyr to Stop substitution at amino acid position 310. The mutation resides in the P/S/T region of the protein. (J:73625)
