In-frame insertion of a eGFP gene into DNA sequences encoding the homeodomain. An adjacent loxP-flanked neomycin cassette was removed via Cre-mediated recombination. A Hoxc11-GFP fusion protein is expressed from this allele and is detected in the same pattern as was previously detected for this gene. (J:50569)
