在第二内含子插入了loxP位点，第六内含子插入了loxP标记的诺卡因选择子。在将嵌合小鼠产生前，通过在ES细胞中短暂表达Cre重组酶移除了诺卡因选择子，剩下两个位于3-6号外显子周围的loxP位点。Northern blot结果显示，这个等位基因产生了正常长度的转录本，而western blot分析证实了产生了正常的蛋白质。(来源：J:69463)
