这个等位基因是从Otcspf的非补救测试结果中鉴定出来的，发现了一个 missense突变，具体是c.240A>T的转换，导致了赖氨酸（K80）被天冬氨酸（N）替换（p.K80N）。K80位点位于氨基甲酰磷酸和鸟氨酸结合区域之外。实时定量PCR显示，杂合雌性和单基因雄性小鼠的肝细胞mRNA水平与野生型相似，而 Western blot则显示肝蛋白水平大幅降低。Otc酶活性大约只有野生型的10-12%。（来源：J:226209）
