Enables sodium channel regulator activity. Involved in transepithelial transport. Acts upstream of or within hair follicle development and positive regulation of sodium ion transport. Located in extracellular space and membrane raft. Is anchored component of plasma membrane and extrinsic component of plasma membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; extraembryonic component; forebrain; genitourinary system; and sensory organ.
