Enables several functions, including calmodulin binding activity; phospholipid binding activity; and syntaxin binding activity. Involved in several processes, including positive regulation of dopamine secretion; regulation of vesicle-mediated transport; and response to calcium ion. Located in several cellular components, including excitatory synapse; neuron projection terminus; and secretory vesicle. Is active in hippocampal mossy fiber to CA3 synapse.
