Enables protein phosphatase binding activity. Involved in several processes, including columnar/cuboidal epithelial cell development; regulation of ERK1 and ERK2 cascade; and spermatogenesis. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including negative regulation of gene expression; peptidyl-tyrosine autophosphorylation; and regulation of phosphate transport. Located in cell surface and perinuclear region of cytoplasm. Is expressed in several structures, including genitourinary system; intestine; lung; stomach; and trunk.
