Acts upstream of or within several processes, including histone acetylation; myeloid dendritic cell differentiation; and negative regulation of toll-like receptor signaling pathway. Part of nucleosome. Is expressed in eye; hemolymphoid system; liver; and testis. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in acute lymphoblastic leukemia; anaplastic large cell lymphoma; chronic lymphocytic leukemia; multiple myeloma; and peripheral T-cell lymphoma.
