双特异性磷酸酶(DUSPs)是I型基于半胱氨酸的蛋白质酪氨酸磷酸酶超家族中的一大异质子群。DUSPs的特点是它们能够去磷酸化酪氨酸和丝氨酸/苏氨酸残基。它们被认为是最重要的信号传导途径的主要调节因子。DUSP19含有共识DUSP C端催化结构域的变异,最后一个丝氨酸残基被丙氨酸替换,并且缺乏DUSPs的MKP(有丝分裂激活蛋白激酶磷酸酶)类中常见的N端CH2结构域(参见MIM 600714)(Patterson等人,2009年总结[PubMed 19228121])。[由OMIM于2009年12月提供]
