Waisman Syndrome, also known as early-onset parkinsonism-intellectual disability syndrome, is related to white sponge nevus and pettigrew syndrome, and has symptoms including muscle rigidity, tremor and bradykinesia. An important gene associated with Waisman Syndrome is RAB39B (RAB39B, Member RAS Oncogene Family), and among its related pathways/superpathways is RAB geranylgeranylation. Affiliated tissues include skin, and related phenotypes are macrocephaly and intellectual disability
