Delusional Disorder

Delusional Disorder, also known as persistent delusional disorders, is related to capgras syndrome and body dysmorphic disorder. An important gene associated with Delusional Disorder is HTR2A (5-Hydroxytryptamine Receptor 2A), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Class A/1 (Rhodopsin-like receptors) and Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) susceptibility pathways. The drugs Agomelatine and Cycloserine have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include brain and eye, and related phenotype is behavior/neurological.
