Birdshot Chorioretinopathy (BSCR)

Birdshot Chorioretinopathy, also known as birdshot chorioretinitis, is related to macular dystrophy, dominant cystoid and retinal vasculitis. An important gene associated with Birdshot Chorioretinopathy is HLA-A (Major Histocompatibility Complex, Class I, A), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Innate Immune System and Class I MHC mediated antigen processing and presentation. The drugs Prednisone and Immunologic Factors have been mentioned in the context of this disorder.
