常染色体显性遗传型Charcot-Marie-Tooth病2型，由于Tfg突变，也被称为cmt2 due to tfg mutation。与常染色体显性遗传型Charcot-Marie-Tooth病2型，由于Tfg突变有关的重要基因是TFG（从ER到高尔基体的调节器）。
