The transgene construct consists of a chicken beta-actin promoter, a loxP-flanked DsRed2 reporter gene, followed by a mouse full length 2756 bp open reading frame of Wwp1 cDNA and an IRES2-EGFP construct. This transgene expresses the DsRed reporter under the control of the ubiquitous promoter. Upon cre-mediated recombination of loxP sites flanking the DsRed reporter, the mouse Wwp1 gene and the EGFP repoorter are expressed. (J:250962)
