A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 6 and an FRT-flanked PGK-neomycin cassette and second loxP site were inserted downstream of exon 7 via CRISPR/Cas9 technology. The PGK-neomycin cassette was removed via flp-mediated recombination leaving exons 6-7 floxed. (J:313451)
