A loxP-flanked stop cassette (LSL) and Akt1 cDNA containing a glutamic acid to lysine substitution at amino acid 17 (p.E17K) with an N-terminal Flag tag were inserted into the locus. The pE17K mutation renders constitutive activation of AKT1. Cre mediated recombination is required to induce expression of the constitutively active AKT1. (J:298712)
