An FRT-flanked PGK-neo cassette and a loxP site were inserted upstream of exon 2 and a second loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 5. The neomycin cassette was removed via flp-mediated recombination. Exons 2-5 were deleted via cre-mediated recombination. (J:342039)
