The conditional gene trap vector FlipROSABgeo* was inserted into intro 2 via homologous recombination. The vector consists of a splice acceptor site, Bgeo* cassette and poly A tail and is flanked by FRT, F3, loxP and lox5171 sites oriented to allow for inversion of the vector. Flp mediated recombination inverted the gene trap vector restoring expression of Prdm16 and preventing expression of the Bgeo reporter. (J:242985)
