Using standard CRISPR-based homologous recombination techniques in embryonic stem (ES) cells, T2a-CreER and frt flanked neo cassette were inserted into the last exon of the Bmpr1b gene. Chimeras were generated by blastocyst injection and subsequent germline transmission was confirmed by tail PCR. The neo-selection cassette was excised using a Flp-deleter strain. (J:341426)
