The targeting construct inserted a loxP site upstream of exon 4 and an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site downstream of exon 4 followed by a mutated exon 4 lacking the 3'UTR. FLP-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and left the wild-type exon 4 floxed. (J:284194)
