The targeting construct instructed a loxP site upstream of exon 4 and an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site downstream of exon 5. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and left exons 4 and 5 floxed. (J:294282)
