An FRT flanked neo cassette and loxP site were inserted upstream of exon 2 and a loxP site was inserted into exon 15 distal to the stop codon. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed exon 2 through the coding region of exon 15. (J:293794)
