An FRT site flanked hygromycin resistance gene and STOP cassette and a loxP site were inserted into intron 1 and a second loxP site into intron 2. Exon 2, the first coding exon, was modified by changing glycine codon 12 (GGT) to valine (GTA) (p.G12V). The allele will only be expressed after Flp-mediated removal of the hygro-STOP cassette. The mutation is the equivalent of the same human mutation found in lung adenocarcinoma. (J:334559)
