The targeting construct was designed to insert a loxP site in the intron upstream of Exon11 and FRT-flanked neo cassette followed by another loxP site into the intron downstream of Exon 12 of the Pld2 gene. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Cre-mediated recombination excised the exons 11 and 12. (J:260679)
