The targeting construct was designed to insert a loxP site in the intron upstream of Exon11 and FRT-flanked neo cassette followed by another loxP site into the intron downstream of Exon 12 of the Pld2 gene. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette leaving the exons 11 and 12 floxed. (J:260679)
